Feel the fear and write it anyway!
Everyone likes the approval of their peers and mentors. We always wonder if we are “good enough”, but in order to become a great songwriter we need to put aside the fear of looking dumb. In a writing session, there is no such thing as looking dumb. Even if your suggestion doesn’t make it to the final draft, it may have spurred yourself, or a co-writer, to come up with something brilliant!
